MHOAA Conference Call Minutes
April 9, 2012
The meeting was called to order at 7:04 p.m.
A Roll Call was taken. There were 9 present.
Consent Agenda
A motioned to accept the Consent Agenda with the treasurer’s report beingremoved for separate discussion was made and Tim seconded. The vote was unanimous.
Old Business
Treasurer’s Report
The treasurer’s report was given with great explanation of the various pages. It is important for everyone to read the Treasurer’s Report since all board members have a fiduciary duty to MHOAA.
Convention Report
Our Executive Director reported her gathered information from 2 hotels in the Washington, D.C. area regarding possible dates and prices for the convention.
Another board member agreed to check to see if the MHCC would be meeting in the fall in case that could impact where we might hold the Convention
New Business
It was stated that the recent CFED Webinar was mainly about financing for manufactured homes.
Nevada has been contacted regarding their membership to MHOAA and is hopeful that they will join. They are appreciating getting the monthly Eblasts.
Michigan has been contacted regarding renewing their MHOAA Membership. Kansas has been participating in the Mid-West Regional Conference Calls. Florida has a group of 47 communities that are interested in receiving the MHOAA Across America Newsletter.
It was requested that the Regional Alliance call minutes be forwarded to the secretary to distribute with the information for MHOAA Board Meetings under the Consent Agenda. All agreed it would be good to receive them.
It was requested that those in the Eastern Region submit information to start an Eastern Regional Alliance call in the near future.
The “Occupy Equity Life Style Meeting” is to be held in May. The Center for Community Change is helping financially in order that some Equity Life Style residents can attend this meeting.
The motion to adjourn and seconded the motion. All approved. Time: 8:50 p.m.

The next scheduled meeting will be May 14th at 7:00 p.m. EST. The committee reports to be included with the Consent Agenda are due May 7th.
